Margaret passed away on July 11, 2022 at Archbold Memorial Hospital.
She was born on November 15, 1933, in Mount Vernon, Ga., to Marcus Woods and Nora (Smith) Woods-Cooper.
On December 27 1952, Margaret was married to James Marvin Hart, who preceded her in death.
She was a member of First Newark Baptist church, where she taught Sunday School. In her spare time, Margaret enjoyed sewing and line dancing. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society.
Margaret is survived by her sons James Howell Hart (Janice) of Pavo and James Herbert Hart (Melissa) of Cairo; daughter Patricia Hart Smith (Rex) of Ochlocknee; grandchildren Jonathan Hart, Shawn Hart, Melita Hart, Rex Smith Jr., and Tina Lane; great-grandchildren Keyton Smith, Kaleb Smith, Aubrey Benton, Trey Hart, Quincey Hart, Isabelle Hart; and great-great-grandchildren Mackenzie Gray and Gage Hart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcus and Nora; husband James Marvin Hart; brother Albert Joshua Woods- FAG # 186241742; and sisters Elizabeth Woods Graham and Barbara Donaldson; and great-grandchild Mika Snipes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to First Newark Baptist Church, 225 Russell Rd, Thomasville, GA 31757, and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
