Dennis W. Phillips age 64, of Scott Ridge Road, Beaver, WV passed away at his home on Monday July 11, 2022 of a sudden illness.
Born March 14, 1958 in Beckley, he was the son of the late Bennie Phillips and Wilma Rochelle Phillips.
Dennis retired from the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center after 37 years of service, but continued to work there part-time.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lynetta Radford.
Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his wife Jenny Kester Phillips; son, Zachary Phillips and wife Samantha of Beaver; daughter Meleaha Phillips Levitt of Beaver; grandchildren, Eli Williams, Mikaela Burgess, Jase Levitt, Holden Phillips, Quinn Phillips, and Isabella Phillips, whom he adored. A brother, Dwayne Phillips of Beaver. He also leaves behind many more extended family and friends who he loved dearly.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Thursday July 14, 2022 at 2 PM with Pastor Dennis Burks officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV. Friends may visit with the family from noon until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
