Daughter Henry and Viola (McClone) Kroll. After high school she worked as a decoder for the U.S. Marine Corps Prison in Washington DC for a year. On November 24, 1955 she married Alvin "Mike" Peters. While raising her children, she taught piano lessons and religious education classes. She was active in her church where she was head organist for over 40 years and president of the Christian Mothers Altar Society. After her children were grown, she worked for Oscar Boldt and WS Patterson until she retired. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers-in-law, Pudge Erdmann, Maynard Kunschke, and Dan Peters. Surviving are her husband, Mike; children, Stephanie (Tim) Raatz, Paul (Debbie) Peters, Marcus Peters, Daphne (Boyd) Hartjes and Becky (Joe) DeGroot; grandchildren, Jeremy (Renee) Stevenson, Angie (Corey) Olson, Tammy (Todd) Krull, David Raatz, Nic (Kelly) Peters, Lindsay (Jimmy) Dritsas, Lake (Rachel) Peters, Nash (Julianna) Peters, Travis Peters, Trevor (Morgan) Hartjes, Leah DeGoey, Jenna (Drew) Keddell, Joe DeGroot, Steven (Brandy) DeGroot, and Sarah DeGroot; twenty-three great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; sisters, Joie Erdman and Connie (Rick) Marthaler; and sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Kunschke and Patti Peters.
