Sarah Elizabeth Martin, 15, died because of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born in Greensboro September 22, 2006, to Paige R. and Scott Martin. Sarah was a straight A rising Junior at Glenn High School. She was active in the technology department of theater, and she competed in the Academic Club. Sarah was a member of the Creative Writing Club. She was very diligent in fund raising for the Lymphoma and Leukemia Society and was a hard worker with the Sycamore Lodge Haunted Forest fund raiser.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmothers Sue Martin and maternal great grandmother Ramona White and Louise Robertson, and aunt Tanya Martin
Survivors include her mother C. Paige Hopkins (Tony) of Kernersville; Father Scott Martin (Courtney Mabe) of Gibsonville; siblings Brooke Martin, Tyler Hopkins, and Morgan Hopkins; Grandfather William "Billy "Martin, Grandparents J.R. and Betty Robertson, Richard and Mary Stevenson, Robin and Tammy Mabe and also Tonya Mabe; great grandparents Billy White, Elizabeth Mabe, Dahlia Meadows, Aunts and Uncles Roger Martin, Matthew Robertson (Samantha), Wille Robertson, Whitney Wood (Dylan), and Amanda Hopkins (Jason); cousins Jacob, Caleb, Hadleigh, Lilly Ann, Peyton, Dakota, Stacey, Olivia, Eleanor, Autumn, and Andrew.
A celebration of Sarah's life will be held Saturday July 16, 2022, at Lebanon Baptist Church at 11:00 AM The family will receive friends following the service. A private interment will take place at Lakeview Cemetery at a Later Date.
The family Requests that in Lieu of Flowers donations be made to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital, ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis TN, 38105 or to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society PO Box 22324 New York, NY 10087.
