Arnold Gene Jones, age 92, of Perryville, Arkansas, passed away Monday, July 11, 2022. He was born April 24, 1930, in Granite, Oklahoma, the son of Wilbert Jones and Pansy Winningham Jones. He was a retired truck driver and cattle farmer. Arnold was a member of Thornburg Baptist Church, Agri Co-op of Morrilton, Arkansas Cattle Association, and Woodman of the World. He loved his wife and all of his family dearly. He liked hunting, fishing, camping, and traveling.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ray Jones and Wayne Jones; and his sister, Wanda Woods.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 15, at Thornburg Baptist Church with Bro. Tom Stover officiating. Burial will be at Thornburg Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service, at the church.
