Emma Jean Wilson (Spaur) - of Mt. Morris, Michigan, age 75, passed into the presence of the Lord on March 19, 2021, in Genesee County - Flint, Michigan. Funeral services were held at 11 AM, Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, 503 N. Mill St., Clio, Michigan. Burial will take place at the Barnette Family Cemetery in Sutton, West Virginia on Thursday, March 25, 2021. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10 AM until the time of service at 11 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Due to Covid-19 restrictions services are limited to 25 people at the funeral home and masks are required.
Emma was born in Sutton, West Virginia on June 15, 1945, the youngest of her siblings. She leaves behind her loving husband, John L. Wilson, Sr. and would have celebrated their 59th Wedding Anniversary in August. She leaves behind her children: Brenda Jenney of Webster, New York, John Wilson Jr., of Denver, Colorado, Samuel Wilson of Mt. Morris, Michigan, and Sarah (William) Knaak of Canandaigua, New York. She leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She is survived by sisters: Dorothy Wood, Phyllis (Grant) Shaw, Norma (Bill) Harrison with a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by her parents James and Eva Spaur, brothers Harley Spaur, Arley Spaur, William Spaur, and Kenneth Spaur, sisters Helen Clifton and Wilma Sage.
