Marion Mason Wade, 87, of Jackson, Mississippi, passed from her earthly home to see Jesus on Friday, July 8, 2022. Marion was born on December 01, 1934 in Magee, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, MS on Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Magee Cemetery in Magee, Mississippi.

Marion was a member of First Baptist Church of Byram. She was a loving mother, devoted wife, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and dear friend. Marion graduated from Co-Lin Junior College with an associate degree in arts. She was a draftsperson for Mississippi Valley Gas Company (ATMOS) until she retired. She enjoyed traveling with friends. She was a talented artist and wonderful cook. She will be greatly missed by all her family, friends, and church family.

Marion was preceded in death by her parents, Robert F. and Velma H. Mason; brothers, Luke, John, Jimmy, and Homer Mason; sisters, Linda and Grace Mason Deal; her husband, Orland Daniel Wade; son, Paul Daniel Wade; and granddaughter, Nancy Brown.

She is survived by two sons, Mark Mason Wade of Jackson, MS and Milton Keith Wade (Carol Ann) of Jackson, MS; sisters, June Grubbs, Ann Walker (Herman) of Magee, and Ida Sue White "Pee Wee" (Harold) of Mendenhall; brother, Newton Mason (Carolyn) of Jackson; grandsons, Bradley Wade of Byram and Timothy Wade of Pearl; granddaughters, Britney Bishop of Sallis, Dawn Lockley of Brandon, and Magen Wade of Jackson; great-grandchildren, Mason, McKenzie, and Trace Bishop, Kirsten and Braelynn Wade, and Sara Jane Lockley; and a host of many nieces and nephews.

In lie of flowers, the family requests donations be made to her church home, First Baptist Church of Byram 7541 Siwell Rd. Byram, MS 39272 (601-372-3156).
