Christy Lee Perry passed away to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on July 9, 2022.

She was born on February 26, 1982. She enjoyed being outside, spending time with her family, lounging poolside or next to the bayou with music gently playing, and taking in all the conversations and action surrounding her. She loved her pets and other kids in her life as if they were her own children. Christy was a mother to all. Christy had a strong relationship with Jesus Christ, and spread the gospel to everyone she met and exemplified the qualities of a faithful servant throughout her battle with cancer. Christy loved the color purple, and she loved butterflies. She was a woman who lived life with meaningful intentions and cared deeply for everyone around her, finding her own comfort in the word of Jesus.

Christy is survived by her husband, Thomas Perry; her five children, Tommy Perry, Kale Perry, Caleb Howell, Kavay Howell, and Titus Perry; her parents, Lisa and James Tucker; her sisters, Jamie Starkey and Natasha Tucker; and so many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, and beloved friends that became family.
