Mr. Richard Bacon Wilson, age 71 of Boydton, died Friday, July 1, 2022. He is survived by his wife, Holly P. Wilson and daughters, Diane Marie Johnson-Patterson (Billy) of Waynesboro and Janet Fellhauer (Horst) of South Chesterfield; siblings, William "Bill" Wilson (Linda) of Danville and Martha Anderagg (Mark) of South Hill. Also surviving is his nephew, Stephen Morris (Valerie) of Ameila. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Loralie Patterson, Miranda Patterson, Tripp Patterson, Deliah Patterson, Jason Fellhauer, Cassandra Showerman; three great grandchildren, Abigail Rose Fellhauer, Liam & Owen Showerman and two great nieces, Hannah and Makalya Morris.
Mr. Wilson was a surveyor assistant and enjoyed the simple things in life. He was an avid reader and served on the board of Clarksville Regional Museum.
A celebration of life service will be conducted at 1pm on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Farrar Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from noon until the time of service.
