Mom was born on April 14, 1933, in the small southwest Pennsylvania town of Cross Creek. Mom married her high school sweetheart in 1953. Dad was enlisted in the Air Force and was transferred to Texas where they chose to stay and raise their three children. Mom was a homemaker, who not only returned to college in her 40's to earn her LVN license, but also graduated as the valedictorian of her class. She was active in church, singing in the church choir as well as the San Angelo Symphony Chorale for many years. She was an active member of the Wool Capitol Region Antique Automobile Club. Mom loved her family and attended many of her children's events. She loved spending time with her five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Mom was an avid traveler; making several trips to Europe, many cruises and even an RV trip across the Arctic Circle. Mom is on her final journey into the arms of her Lord and Savior. Happy trails, Mom.
