He was the owner and operator of a convenience store on Fort Bragg. He was a diehard UNC fan and loved to watch the games and cheer for the Tarheels. He loved to fish and go to the beach. Turner of the home; sons: Bobby Lee Turner of Clinton and Scott Pieper of Virginia; daughter, Shandi Shipway of Fayetteville; brother, Donald Turner of Clinton; four grandchildren: Brianna Doggett, Jackson Turner, Hunter Turner, and Jarron Pieper; and his furry girl "Pebbles".
In addition to his parents, Lee was preceded in death by three sisters, five brothers, and his furry boy "Gizmo".
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church; and other times at his home.
