Susan M. Jennings, 69, of Aurora, died Sunday June 19, 2022 at Ascension Mercy Center in Aurora.
She was born March 18, 1953, in Aurora, the daughter of Leon and Hazel (Rausch) Jennings.
Susan enjoyed travelling, on cruise ships as well as visiting her favorite places in Arizona, Houston, and New Orleans. She was an avid sports fan, especially the Chicago Bears and Cubs teams, and she had also run the family football pool for the past 20 years. Most of all she loved helping people and spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.
Susan worked for over 30 years at MetLife in Aurora prior to her retirement in 2015.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents and her step-brother Gary Sherman.
Survivors include her step-mother Suzanne Jennings of St. Charles; her siblings Lynn (James) Riedel of Loves Park, Tom (Pat) Jennings of Salt Lake City, UT, Diane Jennings of Aurora, David (Linda) Jennings of McHenry, and brother Mark (Pam) Jennings of Shorewood; two step-brothers Donald Sherman of Mississippi and Jim Sherman of Aurora; two step-sisters Diane (Bob) Reis of Kentucky and Mari (Greg) Kluber of Aurora; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
