Funeral services for Eddie Mae Moore Rose, age 70, of Malvern, Ark., who died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2008, at her residence will be held Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Rockport Church with Dr. J. N. McCollum, pastor officiating.
Burial will be in Perla Cemetery with Brandon's Mortuary of Malvern, Ark., in charge of arrangements.
Eddie Mae Moore Rose was born May 21, 1937, to the parentage of Andrew Lee Moore, Sr. and Myrtle Mae Hill Moore in the Richmond Hill Community in Arkadelphia, Ark. Eddie Mae was a member of First Baptist Rockport Church and a homemaker. She married Ollie Lee Rose on Sept. 4, 1955, and was widowed on Jan. 2, 1998.
Her parents, her husband, her son, Johnny Lee Rose, two brothers, Sam and Moses Moore and two sisters, Hester Moore and Tennie Bell Booker, predeceased Eddie Mae Rose.
Survivors include three daughters, Edna Mae Rose Lampkins (Timothy) of Little Rock, Ark., Brenda Jean Rose Hughes (Donnie) and Linda Kay Rose Rhodes, both of Malvern, Ark.; four brothers, Andrew Moore, Jr. (Bobbie Jean) and Joe Moore (Doretha) both of Malvern, Ark., Jerry Moore and Orby Moore both of Miami, Fla., and Quincy Moore of Hot Springs, Ark.; two sisters, Martha Ann Brooks (Eddie) and Mattie Sue Cooper, both of Miami, Fla., and 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation for family and friends was Monday, Jan. 21, 2008, from 5-7 p.m. in the chapel of Brandon's Mortuary, Malvern.
