Marsha Lambert Chambers, 74, of Jonesville, VA passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Johnson City Medical Center.

Marsha was born in Pennington Gap, VA on May 23, 1948 to the late Leonard and Christine Bailey Lambert. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Lynn Chambers.

She was a 1966 graduate of Pennington Gap High School and graduated from Lincoln Memorial University in 1977. Marsha influenced many lives in the Lee County School System as a teacher for over 25 years.

Following her retirement, she very much enjoyed taking care of her many animals on the farm.

She is survived by one son, Justin Lynn Chambers; three brothers, Greg Lambert, Barry Lambert and Rocky Lambert; and nephews and nieces, Ryan Lambert, Adam Lambert, Hilary Lambert Estes, Amanda Lambert Gardner.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 12, in the Ewing-McClure Cemetery in Jonesville with Rev. Doug Odle officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent for the upkeep of Ewing-McClure Cemetery, C/O Farmers and Miners Bank, 41526 W Morgan Ave, Pennington Gap, VA 24277.
