Don Que Fink of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022, of natural causes. He was 86 years old.

Don was born on Wednesday, September 11, 1935, in rural Southwest Virginia. He found true love early in life, and married his high school sweetheart, Ann. In November 2022, Don and Ann would have been married 70 years.

They had five children, Mike, Cindy, Don Jr., William, and John, and helped raise their granddaughter, Leigh. Don even found time later in life to help raise his great-granddaughter, Lily, "his special girl."

Don was a veteran and served in the United States Air Force for four years. He was a graduate of Virginia Tech. Then, he began a long career, working as a supervising civil engineer for the American Bridge division of US Steel. He built many noteworthy buildings, including the John Hancock and the Sears Tower in Chicago.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at Oakey's South Chapel with Rev Wayne Gadman officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
