Jeffery Steven "Steve" Edwards, 61, passed away on July 7, 2022. He was born on August 25, 1960 in Royal Oak, Michigan, to Hansel and Loretta May Edwards. He was a master electrician for the Norfolk Southern Railroad for 30 years and a member of Bethlehem Christian Church, Suffolk, VA.
Besides his parents, Steve is survived by his wife, Sandra Gail Edwards; daughter, Traci Leigh Evans (Brandon); sons, Justin Steven Edwards (Ryan) and Alex J. Edwards; grandchildren, Archer C. Evans and Isla Bardot Evans; step-daughters, Whitney G. Griffin and Abby G. Moore (Justin); step-sons, Jeremy K. Griffin and Andrew T. Griffin (Lindsay); step-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Memphis, Jakob, Ava, Adilyn, and Willow; sister, Sherry L. Roark (Ralph); brother, Rick A. Edwards (Tammy); and numerous loved nieces and nephews.
He had a service at his current residence at Parr Funeral Home, services in Grundy will be conducted Friday, July 15, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the Vansant Baptist Church with Pastor Jody Breeding and Pastor Mike Rife officiating with burial to follow in the A. J. Edwards Cemetery, Skylin Drive, Birchleaf, VA.
Friends may call at the Vansant Baptist Church Thursday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M.
Active Pallbearers will be family and friends.
