He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur J. and Cloteen Johnson; wife, Alice C. Johnson; grandson, Seth Johnson.
Left to cherish his memory are three daughters and three stepdaughters. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Jack retired from General Motors, and was a member of UAW. He was an avid fisherman and loved to reel in catfish. He was also a Tennessee Volunteers fan.
