Mrs. Hayes was born February 8, 1930 in Wilkes County to Lester Harrison and Lola Mae Stone Anderson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Calvin Hayes; a son-in-law, Mike Church; sisters and brothers-in-law, Margie Rhew, Agnes Grimes and husband Jim, Ailene Drum and husband Reid, Ina Guthrie and husband Clayborn, Dorothy Davis and husband Bob; brothers and sisters-in-law, Clayton Anderson and wife Willidean, Lester Harrison and wife Marie and Junior Anderson.
She is survived by three daughters, Suzette Beauchamp and husband Grady of Hamptonville, Debbie Church of Roaring River, and Lisa Forster and husband Ron of Boone; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Fishing Creek Baptist Church.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
