Ethel L. Williams, 90, of Harrisburg peacefully transitioned into eternal life on Tuesday, July 05, 2022 in Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.

She was born in Martinsburg, West Virginia, a daughter of the late George and Mary Myers.

Ethel was a graduate of the former William Penn High School and continued her education at Penn State University.

She retired from the Harrisburg School District and the IBM Corporation.

Ethel was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church where she served as the Church Mother, the Historian, the Church Clerk, as a Sunday School Teacher, with the Youth, Vacation Bible School, and Care and Comfort Ministries.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: John Edward Williams, Sr.

Ethel is survived by her daughter: Mary Walker; her sons: John Williams, Jr. and Robert Williams; her granddaughters: Andrea, Renea, and Vanessa; her grandsons: Steven, Joshua, Lawrence, Zach, and Robert II; her great-granddaughters: Akia and Lailyn; her great-grandson: Devon; her sister: Imogene Key; her extended family; and, her friends.

Her Viewing will be from 10:00 - 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 in the Sanctuary of her Church, 2730 Booser Avenue, Harrisburg. Life Celebration will begin at 11:00 AM.

Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Wednesday, July 13, at 10:30 AM.
