Sarah Faye Lambert, 85, of Harts, WV, departed this life on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at CAMC Memorial, Charleston, WV.
She was born March 27, 1934 in Big Creek, WV, the daughter of the late Dennis and Ella Gillenwater.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Debra Browning, one son-in-law, Steve Vance, six brothers, Bob, Virgil, Tom, Bill, Wandel and Glen Gillenwater and her in-laws, Clarence and Christine Lambert.
Sarah enjoyed cooking, going to church and spending time with her family.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 68 years, Vernard Lambert; three daughters, Jean (Aley) Harless, Gail (Glen) Brumfield and Kathy Vance; two sons, Ralph (Sandy) Lambert and John (Gwen) Lambert; son-in-law, Larry Browning; one brother, Herman Gillenwater; thirteen grandchildren, Pam (Jason) Butcher, Daryl (Amanda) Harless, Melissa (Brian) Adams, Crystal (Michael) Ball, Jeff (Kristen) Brumfield, Brandon Vance, Brad (Stacy) Vance, David Browning, Josh Lambert, Adam Lambert, Trent Lambert, Dwayne (Natasha) Lambert and Sam Lambert; twelve great-grandchildren, Chris Butcher, Zach Adams, Beth and Lily Ball, Brayden and Ryleigh Vance, Dustyn, Dakotah and Addahsyn Harless, and Kiara, Keden, and Kinley Lambert; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home with John Duty and James Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at the Lambert Cemetery, Greenshoals, WV.
Visitation will be on Saturday, November 30, 2019 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Daryl Harless, Brad Vance, Brandon Vance, Dwayne Lambert, Trent Lambert and Adam Lambert.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Brumfield, Chris Butcher, Zach Adams, Brian Adams, Michael Ball,Dustyn Harless and Dakotah Harless.
