Jerry Lee Walker, 80, of Wallace, ID, and lifelong resident of the Silver Valley, passed away on June 23, 2022 at the family home in Wallace, ID. Jerry was born on November 8, 1941 in Wallace, ID, a son of the late Everett Walker and Violet Monroe Walker. He was raised in Burke Canyon (Gem), Idaho where the further up the canyon you lived the tougher you were.

Jerry attended local schools and graduated from Wallace High School. On October 24th, 1964 he married Linda Russell. Jerry was a hard rock miner who worked at the various mines in the valley. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family. In his youth, he enjoyed rock fights and playing hooky from school. Jerry never told a lie but only a few fibs like chocolate milk came from a brown cow and spaghetti grew on trees.

In addition to his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by seven brothers, Everett, Norman, Harold, Robert, Leonard, Marvin, and Dewayne; eight sisters, Gertrude, Joanne, Violet, Lorraine, Donna Lee, Geraldine, Catherine, Barbara; and his niece, Erin.

Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Linda Walker of Wallace, ID; three daughters, Sharon (Ron) Sullivan of Osburn, ID, Jeri Lynn Walker of Thompson Falls, MT and Susan (Randy) Moles of Wallace, ID; two grandsons Jimmy (Bridget) Chambers of Wallace, ID and Jacob Sullivan of Moscow, ID; three granddaughters, Erica (Ryan) Danielson of Feltwell, England, Kelsie Sullivan of Osburn, ID and Alicia (Brad) Sullivan of Coeur d' Alene, ID; six great-grandchildren, Axel, Charlotte, Avery, Cadence, Silas and Preston; two sisters, Eleanor and Beverly; as well as several nephews nieces and his best friend, Sammy the cat.

Jerry was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and a dear friend to many. He will be greatly missed.

In keeping with Jerry's wishes, cremation will take place and his family will celebrate his life with a private gathering.
