Bryan Keith Beck, age 44, a resident of Columbia, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022, at his residence.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Jeremy Knox officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Freedom in Maury Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the United States Air Force. A visitation will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM and again on Tuesday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on February 18, 1978, in Columbia, Tennessee, Bryan was the son of the late Jerry Beck and the late Laura Piazza Beck. He was a 1996 graduate of Columbia Central High School and earned his master's degree in Aerospace from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. He served fifteen years in the United States Air Force as a pilot where he was awarded an Air Medal for his outstanding achievements in combat. Bryan served in Iraq and Afghanistan. His passion was flying. He loved his family, especially his children, Taylor and Gunnar. Bryan had an infectious smile, genuine personality, and never met a stranger.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter, Taylor Michelle Beck of Columbia, son, Gunnar Knox Beck of Columbia, fiancé, Jessica Albright of Columbia, brother, Jeff (Lisa) Beck of Florida, sister, Jeannie (Dwight) Ledford of Columbia, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Beck and sister, Cindy Donovan.

Pallbearers will be Eric Pinkerton, Buddy Claspell, Kenneth Dematus, Jeremy Knox, and CJ Kersey.

Honorary pallbearers will include the 311th Airlift Squadron and the 9th Airlift Squad.
