Jackie (Jack) Ray Roach, 72, of Owensville, Mo., passed away Wed., July 6, 2022, at Frene Valley of Owensville—a Stone Bridge Community.

He was born Aug. 31, 1949, to Myron and Martha (Bixby) Roach at Mound City, Mo.

He was united in marriage to Ida (Lammers) Smith, June 6, 1970, at Savannah, Mo.

Jack served his country in the United States Army and was a member of Owensville Christian Church. Jack was a truck driver for over forty years and loved to tour the country with his family and took them on many vacations and camping trips when he wasn't working.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Myron and Martha Roach; brothers, Truman Roach and Allen Roach; and sister, Margaret Clevenger.

His survivors include his children, Jenny Wehmeyer and husband Randall of Mt. Sterling, Jeremy Roach and wife Peggy of Bland, and Dawn Burke and husband John of Owensville; brothers, David Roach of Kirkville, Iowa and Jim Roach of Palmyra, Tenn.; sister, Kathy Willerton of Adrian, Mo.; his former wife, Ida Smith; grandchildren, Shannon Roach, Cheyanne Vance, Sean Burke, Terrence Burke, Lakota Roach, Jacquelin Burke, Randall Burke, and Cherokee Roach; and great-grandchildren, Desmond Roach and Roman Burke.

There will be a celebration of life Sat., July 9th at 11:00 a.m. at Owensville City Memorial Park.
