Edna was united in marriage to Marvin O. Johnson, Jr. on June 12, 1955.
Edna was a wonderful homemaker and loved taking care of her home and family. As a military spouse Edna had to have grit and love as she along with Marvin made sacrifices for his career. They had to nurture and grow in their relationship as they faced the challenges of raising five children as a military family and following military orders as they moved from duty station to duty station during Marvin's thirty-year Navy veteran career. They would eventually make their home in Cuba and settle into retirement to enjoy their life as grandparents.
Edna is preceded in death by her parents Roy and Frances (Calhoun) Lawson; two sons Larry Abnet and Steven E. Johnson, Sr.
In keeping with her wishes, Edna will be cremated.
Private family services will be held at Steelville Cemetery, Steelville, Missouri.
The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Johnson family.
