Glen Arnold, 60, of Jonesboro passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008.
He was born at Egypt on July 1, 1947, to Henry and Helen Arnold.
Mr. Arnold had worked as a backhoe operator for Dixie Contractors and had served in the U.S. Navy.
He leaves behind his wife, Lisa Arnold of the home; two sons, Jason Arnold and Russell Henry Arnold, both of Jonesboro; two daughters, Glenda Haley of Mount Dora, Fla., and Stacy Arnold of Jonesboro; three sisters, Mary Cogburn of Jonesboro, Linda Goad of Mountain Home and Sharon Foreman of Walnut Ridge; one brother, Jim Arnold of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Courtney Arnold, Kaitlyn Arnold, Austin Arnold and Sulina Kitchen, all of Jonesboro, and Chelsey Haley and Zachery Haley, both of Beatrice, Neb.; and Joyce Suline, mother of the children.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Louise Wewers; and two brothers, John Arnold and Louis Richard Arnold.
Funeral services will be held Friday in Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home Chapel, beginning at 1:30 p.m., with Tim Kincaid officiating. Burial will follow in Arnold Cemetery at Swifton.
Pallbearers were: Blake Lamberson, Robert Ring, Brian Cope, John Warren, Steve Arnold and Randy Barr.
Honorary pallbearers were: Scott Warren and Gary Arnold.
