Mike was born on October 24, 1953, in Lompoc, California to the late Leon T. Garcia, and Erma B. Garcia. He lived almost his entire life in Lompoc, except for the 12 years that he lived in San Diego, California.
Mike enjoyed going to concerts, listening to music, and taking his dog Charlie to the beach. He also enjoyed building motorized bicycles and eating his sister Rosemary's leftovers.
He is survived by his Mother Erma B. Garcia, his three sisters: Chris Budny (Dan), Marge Hampton (Kenny), and Rosemary Alvarez (Abe). His nephews; Mike Huckins, Jr. (Tonda), Jesse Hampton, his nieces; Shellie Davis (Danny), Celeste Robles, Alisha Robles, and Sarah Hampton. Great nephews; Dylan Davis, Caleb Cochrane, Kenneth Hampton, and Sidney Hampton, also his great-nieces; Ava Davis, and Vienna Huckins.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Leon T. Garcia, his nephew Jon-Paul Budny and his two dogs, Cecil and Mitch.
A celebration of life for Mike will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at 1:30 pm at the American Legion Post 211, 630 North H St., Lompoc California.
