Anna Mary Sape, age 84 of Warren, passed away August 28, 2017. She was born in Detroit on September 15, 1932; the daughter of Lester and Hanna "Marie" (nee Engel / Engels) Sape. Anna's demeanor could be described as that of an angel. She was loving, active and very involved in her local Tops Weight Club. She is also known for being an excellent baker of cookies, pies and more. Anna is dearly loved and will be deeply missed. Beloved wife of the late John for over 50 years. Loving mother of Jim (Pam), Dan (Amy), Tim, John (Deanna) and Mike. Treasured grandmother of Courtney, Ashley, Mellisa, Danny boy, Rachel, Emily, Katie, Johnny, Jimmy and Jake. Proud great-grandmother of 14. Dear sister of Clyde Akers, Bob Akers and the late Helen Young. Also survived by many caring nieces and nephews. Anna's family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 30th from 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic (13-1/2 Mile), Warren. A funeral ceremony for Anna will take place on Thursday, August 31st at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. A committal service will immediately follow at Christian Memorial Cultural Center in Rochester Hills.
