He graduated from Washington High School and served 4 years in the United States Army. Mark and his wife, Melba owned and operated the Temple Hill Motel and the Thrift Travel Inn for over 30 years until 1999. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. He served in the Masons, Shriners, and Jesters. He enjoyed gardening, golfing, spending time with his family especially his grandchildren, and traveling the world with his wife.
Mark is survived by his three loving daughters, Deborah "Debbie" Bozman (Walt) of Salisbury, Pamela Nelson Duke (David) of Salisbury, Jean Morgan (Dwayne) of Salisbury; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; Sister, Judy Tankersley of Salisbury; and two half-brothers, Fred Adams, John Adams.
Mark is preceded in death by his loving parents and his wife of 63 years, Melba Janet Nelson.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022, at 2pm at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury. Pastor Mark Bunting will officiate.
