Jeff (John) was born Friday, August 28, 1964 in Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky. He passed Saturday, July 2, 2022 at St. Louis Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, having attained the age of 57 years, 10 months, and 5 days. While attending Owensboro High School he was recognized as one of the most outstanding high school football prospects. He played college football at both Eastern Kentucky University and University of Kentucky.

He received a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Management from Eastern Kentucky University. He also received a Master of Science in Telecommunications Systems management from Murray State University.

Jeff (John) had many interests which included scuba diving, martial arts, weightlifting and physical fitness. He was also an avid reader and studied a wide variety of topics that interested him.

While living in Louisville, he attended Southeast Christian Church where he strengthened his faith in Christ and formed lifelong friendships.

He utilized his technical skills gained through education and further trainings and certifications to build his successful career with such institutions as the US Army and United States Air force at Scott Air force base. He most recently worked for Spectrum Communications. He was residing in the St. Louis, MO area.

Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Harriet Lou Alexander Hall, and father, James L. Hall Jr.

Jeff is survived by his brother, Jim, his wife, Scarlet, their three children and two grandchildren, Lauren (Andrew Hays), Hazel and Henry Hays, Austin Hall, and Sidney Hall.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at The Marrowbone Cemetery in Marrowbone, Kentucky. Norris-New Funeral Home of Burkesville, Kentucky is honored to be in charge of the local arrangements. Online condolences at Norris-New.com
