Martha R. "Becky" Moore, 82, passed from this life on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Parkview DeKalb in Auburn, IN.

She was born in Ft. Wayne, IN on May 24, 1940 to the late George M. & Laulah D. (Cunningham) England. She married William J. "Bill" Moore on March 2, 1963 in Ft. Wayne, IN.

Surviving are her husband, Bill Moore of Butler; daughters, Chelli Laney of Butler, Jacki (Larry) Yoder of Butler; grandchildren, Corey (Chelsea) Yoder of Harlan, Bryce (Kaci) Yoder of Auburn, Holly Laney of Butler and MacKinzee Stepp of Butler; great grandchildren, Camdyn, Bennett & Maisyn Yoder; sister, Naomi White of Ft. Wayne; brother, Paul (Nancy) England of Springfield, OH; sisters-in-law, Mary Jo England of Ft. Wayne and Janice Ianucilli of Ft. Wayne.

She was preceded in death by a brother, George England; sisters, Lois McCoy, Roberta Watson, Ruth Thompson and Hope Christy; her step-mom, Dorothy England and a son-in-law, Jim Laney.

Martha worked at Messengers and then at Kray's Apple Orchard in Butler for several years. She was a longtime member of the Red Hat Ladies, the Lady Bugs and St. Joe Church of Christ in St. Joe, IN.

She loved to make ornaments and Easter baskets out of macrame and ran the Crafts on the Hill out of her basement. Most dear to her heart was her Christmas Village that she and her husband would work on for months to put up, creating stories for each house. She added to it every year including rocks from family and friends from all over the world.

Calling will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022 from 4-8 pm at St. Joe Church of Christ (508 Jefferson St. St. Joe, IN). Services will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 11 am with calling one hour prior at the church. Pastors Donny Goff & Jim Platner will officiate.

Burial in Scipio Cemetery, Harlan, IN.
