He was a native of Brandenton, Florida and came to the Murphy area two years ago. He was the son of Fred and Sue Abbott of Murphy, NC. He was a self-employed handyman and did flooring installation. Tim enjoyed fishing, boating and being outdoors. He was a member of Little Brasstown Baptist Church.
He is survived by in addition to his parents; three brothers, Bruce C. Abbott and his wife, Ann of Hendersonville, NC, John A Taylor and his wife Brenda of Knoxville, TN, and Barry A. Taylor of Murphy, NC; one sister, Karen E. Austin and her husband, Larry of Hendersonville, NC and several aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 27, 2008 at the Little Brasstown Baptist Church in Brasstown, NC."
