Obituary
Raymond Eugene Jackson, 87, of Jane Lew, passed away on September 30, 2021, at the Genesis Center in Glenville.

He was born in Braxton County on May 20, 1934, a son of the late Thomas Jackson and Esta May Gifford Jackson. In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by three sisters: Mabel Jackson, Lucy Villers, and Linda Goodman; and four brothers: Bob, Herb, Lester, and Art Jackson.

Forever cherishing their memories of Raymond are two children: Patricia Ann Ramsey and husband, Donald, of Jane Lew, and Richard Eldon Jackson and wife, Tracy, of Weston; one grandchild, Richard Jackson Jr.; one sister, Elizabeth Freeland of Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

Raymond graduated from Jane Lew High School and retired from the Clarksburg Casket Company in 1999. He was a frequent supporter of Message of Light Tabernacle. Raymond was usually soft-spoken and quiet and enjoyed his peaceful walks at the VA Park in Clarksburg. He and his daughter would often stop and feed the ducks while enjoying the tranquility of the park.

A Private Interment will be held at a later date at Rock Grove Cemetery in Linn.
