It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say our goodbyes to our beloved son, husband, brother and uncle. Eric Allen Christian of Franklin Furnace, Ohio, went to be with our Lord on June 30, 2022 at St. Mary's Medical Center, after having surgery at Kings Daughters Medical Center.
Eric was born October 10, 1979 in Ironton, Ohio, a son to Gary and Vickie Christian. He married Lindsay (Kelley) Christian on July 4, 2009.
Eric graduated from Green Township High School and held many business degrees. He was a member of Green Township Fire Department and was a member of Junior Furnace Baptist Church. He presently was working at H.T. Hackney in Milton, West Virginia and formally worked for Big Sandy.
He leaves behind his wife, Lindsay, parents Gary & Vickie, brother Brian (Chastity) Christian, two special nieces, Kaylee and Addy Christian. His grandfather Elbert (Cotton) Christian along with a host of extended family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Betty Christian and Vernon and Charline Davis.
Funeral service will be 1:00pm, Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South 7th Street, Ironton, OH 45638 with Pastor Rocky Deerfield officiating. Burial will follow in Sugar Creek Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be 11:00am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
