It is with great sadness that the family of Juanita Anderson (Juana) announce her sudden passing on June 28, 2022, at the young age of 27.
Today, our hearts are broken as we mourn the loss of our Juanita Gene. Her relaxed presence and huge heart left us too soon, but we will forever remember her calmness, love and selflessness.
Juana loved her daughter more than anything, along with cooking, animals and her family. She loved playing Loteria, even though her tia always cheated to win.
Juana leaves behind her mom, Esther Ann Castro; dad, Gene Anderson; step dad, Nolan Thomas; daughter, Annaliegha; devoted partner, Andres Ramirez; sisters, Denise Figueroa and Vanessa Enriquez; step sisters, LaTrase and Kyisha Thomas; nephews, Andrew, Matthew, Joseph and Aiden; aunt, Diane and uncle, Lil-Tom Castro; and in typical Hispanic fashion, a million cousins.
The family will receive friends between 6 and 8 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls. Memorial services celebrating Juana's life will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2022 at Life Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls.
