Elizabeth "Ann" Elkins, 71, passed away March 8, 2003 in Tucson, Arizona. She was born to Dale & Ina (McCloud) Baker on December 29, 1931 in Buffalo, Indiana.

"Ann" as she was lovingly known by her family and friends moved to Lake Havasu in 1981 from Galveston, Indiana. After 19 years of service with the Lake Havasu Regional Hospital, Ann retired and her and her husband, Wayne moved down to Tucson, Arizona. She was also a member of the Moose Lodge.

Ann is survived by her loving husband, Wayne C. Elkins; sons, Wayne Leroy Elkins of Port Arthur, Texas and William Dale Wyant of Walton, Indiana; daughter Melody Ann Brooks of Tucson, Arizona; mother, Ina R. Baker of Lake Havasu; brothers, Jerry Baker of Dewey, Arizona, Bryan Baker of Lake Havasu and Dwight Baker of Washington; one sister Marilyn Lovelace of Dunnellon, Florida; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is preceded in by her dad, Dale Baker and sister, Goldia Younglove.

A visitation will be held Thursday, March 13, 2003, 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Funeral services will also be at Lietz-Fraze Chapel, Friday, March 14, 2003 at 2:00 PM with Jeff Lovelace officiating. Interment will follow the services at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.

The family request donations to be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Tucson.

Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
