Chuck graduated from State College High School in 1971. He worked for Harris Township as a laborer for over 22 years.
Chuck was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Boalsburg. He was a life member of the BPOE Elks #1904 of Bellefonte, a social member of the Smith-Pletcher American Legion Post #779 in Centre Hall, a member of the Millheim Firemans Club, and a former member of the Harris Township Fish and Game. He enjoyed many outdoors activities like golfing and tending to his vegetable gardens. He liked canning his produce, making homemade sausage, cooking, and catering parties. He was an outgoing man with a huge heart. He was giving and would help anyone in need. If you ask anyone what they remembered most about Chuck, you would be told that he had a kind soul, relatively laid back, and enjoyed his cold Budweiser. He was greatly loved and cherished by friends and family.
