Laurie Marquez-Watts passed away on September 09, 2021 at the age of 48. Laurie was born on July 17, 1973 in Phoenix, Arizona. She is survived by her three children Nathaneal Martin, Savion Watts, and Ava Watts, her mother Tillie Cota and step-father George Cota Jr., her sisters Melissa Marquez, Jenevieve Bertram, and Kristy Weber, her brother Eric Cota, as wells as her nieces Aziah Castillo, Serenity Cota, Siannah Cota, nephew Julian Castillo, great-nephew Sonny Castillo, and her beloved dogs Luna & Jax.
Laurie was preceded in death by her father Manuel H. Marquez and her sister Patricia Cota.
Friends and family are invited to a viewing being held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from 5-9 PM at West Resthaven Fuenral Home, 6450 W Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ. Funeral service will be held at West Resthaven the following day, Thursday, September 23, 2021, at 9 AM. Laurie will be laid to rest at Resthaven Park Cemetery.
Laurie was preceded in death by her father Manuel H. Marquez and her sister Patricia Cota.
