BERKLEY, MA—Brian L. Carpenter II, 32, passed away unexpectedly at home. He was the son of Brian L. Carpenter of Berkley, and Janet L. Hancock and her husband Thomas of Westport.
Brian was born in Fall River, and was a graduate of the Somerset-Berkley High School. He also attended Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. In recent years he was the owner of BLC Drywall and Contracting. He was an accomplished guitar player, working with several bands in the region. He was also a great fan of John Mayer, the Grateful Dead, the Green Bay Packers, and loved boating and spending time on the water. He is also remembered as a selfless person who would help anyone.

A prayer service will be held Monday, September 20, 2021 at 5PM in the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset. Visitation will continue thereafter until 8 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Other arrangements held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Families for Depression Awareness at www.familyaware.org.
