Terry Horton 'Buddy' Barker, age 88, of Forrest City, died Sunday, July 3, 2022, at the Methodist University Hospital in Memphis. He had been in poor health for the past two weeks.

Mr. Barker was born May 14, 1934, in Marianna, and was the son of William Horton Barker and Wilma Lowe Barker. He lived in Lee County and St. Francis County all of his life, was a farmer and a grain bin salesman, and had been in the Navy. He had attended the First Christian Church in Marianna, where he had served at an Elder. Later he became a member of the Rusty Nails Cowboy Church in Forrest City, where he also served as an Elder.

Mr. Barker married Linda King in 1964, she survives him along with one son, Jesse Ivy Barker of Delight, Arkansas, two daughters; Terry Barker Roberts, and husband, Steve, of Wynne, and Tammy Barker Crouch, and husband, Adrian, of Marion, one brother, William Lewis 'Johnny' Barker, and wife, Ann, of Marianna, one sister, Clarice Barker McMickle, and husband, Donnie, of Marianna, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services for Mr. Barker will be held at the Rusty Nails Cowboy Church in Forrest City, 11:00 A.M., Saturday, with burial in Marianna Memorial Park Cemetery in Marianna.
