Virginia M. Dunn age 75, of Fremont
Died Monday July 4, 2022 at Life Care Center in Elkhorn
Virginia was born August 14, 1946 in Fremont, Ne to Elwin and Eva 'Wilson' Bader. She was the youngest child of four. She attended and graduated from Fremont Public HS in 1964 and then went to Bahner College of Hairstyling following high school. * Where she and I studied together.

Virginia and Gary were married July 12, 1964 in Fremont and in July 1967 they moved to Hartington, NE where they resided for 33 yrs. Virginia primarily worked in the insurance industry and her final position was working as office manager for the Fremont radio station (KHUB).

Virginia was a dedicated sports fan especially of her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed bowling in her younger years and she was an active Nintendo gamer. She also loved to play cards and bingo. She was very crafty with sewing, crochet and ceramics. She also loved to go fishing and spending time with family in the Black Hills.

Virginia was very active in the community with John C Fremont days, Class Reunions and the annual Free Fishing day sponsored by the KHUB radio station. She loved to meet with many of her classmates on a monthly basis for coffee.

Survivors:
Daughter - Gayle Lorenz, Grandson - Andrew Lorenz, Granddaughter - Emily Lorenz and Great-granddaughter - Jensen. Son - Scott (Susan) Dunn, Grandchildren Bryan Dunn, Lyndsay Dunn and Sean Dunn, Matthew Dunn.
Sister - Beverly Clark

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Gary in 2002 along with her parents, her sister Janice and brother Larry.
Virginia was the Class of '64s "bookkeeper" of sorts. She sent out newsletters and kept track of everyone. She always let us know what was happening. She is most assuredly missed for her warm personality, but prayerfully, she is with her beloved husband, Gary.
