Mr. Marvin Ellis Banks, Sr., age 92, of Fayetteville, GA passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022. He is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Frances Green Banks. He is survived by his sons, Marvin "Ernie" Banks, Jr. and his wife, Lynn, of Frederick, CO, Barry Stephens and his wife, Lynn, of Sharpsburg; daughters, Carol Cato of McDonough, Karen Johnston and her husband, Jimmy, of Newnan; sister, Dorothy Laney; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 1 o'clock at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Newnan, GA with Dr. George Dillard officiating.
