Outside of work, she enjoyed tending to her yard and flower gardens, and tackling projects around the house. She also loved taking day trips and spending time with her family. She had a great appreciation for nature's little creatures such as the rabbits, chipmunks, and birds that visited her yard. Betty Ann greatly admired her cats as well, having many over the years.
