Robert D. English was born on the 17th of May 1940 in Binghamton, Broome County, NY and passed away at the Meadowview Heathcare in Montrose on 24 June 2022. He was the son of Manley Robert and B. Irene (Larrabee) English and the beloved husband of Linda C. (Culver) English.

Bob served his country in the U.S. ARMY for nine years and served during the Vietnam War. It was there that Staff Sergeant E-6 Robert D. English received the Army Commendation Medal for the period of Aug. 14, 1967 to July 18, 1968 for his participation in protecting the receiver Signal Sight while it was under siege and for returning the non-operative receiver sight back to full operating capacity.
