He attended the rural schools in Barbour County, AL. He was united in Holy Matrimony to Willie Mae Tiller and to this union, six children were born.
Willie K. Jackson, Sr. went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, June 28, 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents, Will and Mary Jackson; his wife Willie Mae Tiller Jackson; and three sons, Homer Lee Jackson, Danny E. Jackson, and James E. Jackson.
He leaves to cherish his memories, three sons, Willie Ray Jackson, Stanley W. Jackson, and Robert Lee Jackson; 25 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, and 5 great- great grandchildren; one sister, Rachel J. Dawkins and a host of nieces, nephews, and sorrowing friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Horace Williams Mortuary, 1457 E. Main St., Dothan, AL.
Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Little Rocky Mt. Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery, 332 County Road 270, Tumbleton, AL.
