Services for Patricia Vance Jones will be held Thursday, June 30, 2022, 2:00 PM at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS.

Mrs. Jones, age 72, died on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton, Ga.

She was born on October 31, 1949, in Greenwood, MS, to the late Hernando and Vader Keen Carithers and resided in the Greenwood area most of her life.

She was a member of Mt Olive Baptist Church. She retired from One Hour Martinizing after 30 years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, and her pets Butch and George. She was always helping people in need, especially children. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Tommy Jones, and a sister, Sue Rayburn.

She is survived by her son, Bobby Vance of Carrollton, MS; two daughters, Kim Vance (Shane) Stainton of Chatsworth, GA, and Kelly Vance (Trey) White of Carrollton, MS; sister, Dot Adams of Grenada, MS; two step-daughters, Brandy Jones Coppock of Carrollton, MS, and Brittany Jones Ingram of Fairmount, GA; twelve grandchildren, Trey Vance, Katie Moore, Tori Middlebrooks, Ali Stainton, Brady Stainton, Hannah Smith, Hayes-White, Nick White, Austin Coppock, Dillon Coppock, Alliyah Ingram, and Lance Ingram, Jr.; special cousin, Rose Farrish of Blackhawk, MS; and five greatgrandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Williams & Lord Funeral Home. William Morgan will officiate the services. The burial will be in Mt Olive Cemetery.
