Amber Leigh Harmon, 35, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends Wednesday, June 29, 2022 in The Woodlands, Texas. Born June 26, 1987 in Houston, Texas to James (Don) Harmon and Deanie R. Boy.

Amber is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ray and Nelva Pearson, James F. and Jimmie F. Harmon.

She leaves behind her mother, father and step father, James R. Boy, her sisters, Lori Letourneau and husband Tim, Niesa Glenewinkel and husband Randy, Monica Wendel and husband Shane, and her uncle Gary Pearson, plus a host of loving extended family members and friends.

Amber grew up in Cypress, Texas and attended Cy-fair schools. She graduated from Cy-Falls High School and went on to Lone Star College for a couple of semesters.

Amber loved animals and had for pets, hamsters, ferrets, pot-belly pig, birds, dogs, and cats. During high school and attending FFA, Amber raised rabbits for one year and lambs for two years.

Amber love music, especially country and western. She loved to read her e-books and visit with all of her visually impaired friends on social media.

A visitation is planned for Friday, July 8, 2022 from 4 PM to 8 PM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel, 1101 Antoine Dr., Houston, Texas. The service will be Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 11 AM at Calvary Community Church, 7550 Cherry Park Dr., Houston, Texas. Interment will follow at the Woodlawn Garden of Memories Cemetery, 1101 Antoine, Houston, Texas.

Pallbearers for the service are Randy Glenewinkel, Tom Hanslik, John Wayne Snelson, Ray Daniel, Rico Garcia, and Greg Hasselberger. Alternates, Floyd Kittle, Keith Berger and Rob Fucile.
