The death index card indicates death in Calvert County. A search revealed no death certificate in that county or any other County in Maryland. The archivists at The Maryland Hall of Records also did searches and concluded the same results I did. They have no explanation as to what happened to the actual certificate. We know he lived his entire life in Caroline County and that is where he died. Conclude what you will but the archives and I are in agreement.
