Darla L. Stewart, 58, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away on January 26, 2022 at her residence.
She was born March 28, 1963 in Butler, Pennsylvania to Charles C. Grounds and the late Roxie L. Hamilton Grounds.
Darla was a homemaker. She was a member of Butler Wesleyan Methodist Church. Darla loved painting and was very artistic. She liked writing poems. Darla enjoyed singing and was a great hostess and loved her pets.
Darla is survived by her one son, Derik D. Stewart and his fiance, Azza, of Chicora, PA; one daughter, Danell L. Reges and her husband, Howard, of Butler, PA; six grandchildren; her father, Charles C. Grounds; and one sister, Debra L. Brock and her husband, Walter, of Butler, PA.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, David K. Stewart, who she married on October 10, 1980, and who passed away on September 27, 1999; two brothers, Charles C. Grounds, and Raymond D. Grounds.
Friends will be received Monday, January 31, 2022, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street Butler, PA with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Paul Fish of Butler Wesleyan Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will take place in the Greenlawn Burial Estates.
