Obituary of Carol Carrie Garner
Carol Carrie Garner, 80, of Middleton, died Sunday, August 30, 2015 at a Boise hospital of natural causes. Carol was born with her twin brother Carl Knapp, September 1, 1934 to Darrel and Mary Knapp in Rapid City, South Dakota. Her family moved to Ontario, Oregon when she was ten. She later graduated from Ontario High School. Carol married Ardell Garner in 1960, and they were blessed with 4 daughters.
Carol loved porcelain dolls, crafts, feather flowers, and ceramics. Family meant everything to her; she was especially fond of children. She was crazy about her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents and 5 of her siblings. She is survived by her husband Ervil "Ardell" Garner; her four daughters: Penny (Bob) Vance, Kelly Garner, Mary Hudson, & Melissa (Terry) Banta; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren (+2 pending). She is also survived by 5 siblings including her twin brother, Carl (Jan) Knapp, Charlie (Barbara) Knapp, Gloria Mahaffey, Sam (Fran) Knapp, Art (Lynn) Knapp and multiple in-laws.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 10:30 AM at Caldwell Christian Church (3207 E. Ustick Road). Services are under the care of Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell. Condolences can be given at www.flahifffuneralchapel.com
