Betty Jean White, 89, of Washington, died Thursday, June 30, 2022, in Southmont of Presbyterian Senior Care, Washington.

She was born February 19, 1933, in Washington, a daughter of the late William Clark Morrison and Mildred Agnew Morrison.

Mrs. White was a 1951 graduate of Trinity High School and chaired her graduating class's reunion committee.

A homemaker, she was a member, elder, former deacon, and former Sunday School teacher at Faith United Presbyterian Church. Mrs. White was past worthy advisor of Martha Assembly #11 Order of Eastern Star and International Order of Rainbow Girls, Past worthy matron of Lincoln Chapter 112 Order of Eastern Star, past worthy matron of Order of Eastern Star 187, and was a member of Grand Cross of Color. In addition, she was a member of SOAR #1520-Steelworkers Organization of Active Retirees, former treasurer of Trinity Alumni Association, and former board member and treasurer of Marianna Field & Stream Club.

On May 28, 1951, she married Donald W. White, who died April 6, 2020.

Surviving are two sons, Donald W. (Cheryl) White, Jr., and Robert (Kathy) White, both of Washington; three daughters, Peggy Ann (Walter, Jr. "Bud") Bice of Fredericktown, Rebecca Sue (David) Magee of Coral Springs, Florida, and Nancy Ruth (Ray) Pfaff of Gulf Shores, Alabama; a brother, William C. Morrison, Jr., of Oil City; one sister, Sandra Hodgens of Washington; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are a grandson, Jeffrey Michael White; a granddaughter, Tina Shrader; and a sister, Beverly Mounts.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, July 6th from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 10 a.m., July 7th. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
